As you can see in the image, the oven is a very simple 3 piece design, the dome is all one piece, unlike other pizza oven kits on the market where the dome is multiple pieces, that leaves more room for error in construction, heat loss and cracking. The dome on the Chicago Brick Oven pizza oven kit is what’s called a “low dome design” that forces all the heat down onto the hearth. The pizza oven kit is made in America using a proprietary blend of refractory materials that won’t crack due to thermal expansion. The oven is infused with thousands of stainless steel needles to prevent expansion and cracking.
